No church for us this evening. When I was in church not so long ago I realized again that faith, or spirituality, does not depend on a building or a community. If the birth of Jesus means love, than we should practice love and not talk about it. “What you actually love is most truly reflected in your actions, not in what you feel, think or say.”

We celebrate Christmas this year in the home of the elderly, people who are old, some of them old enough to outlive their children. We, Wanita and I, have taken the day off and will visit some of the elderly who are alone today. Tonight we will be at home and will celebrate that we are together as a family, that we are blessed with health, and prosperity. That we live in peace in this beautiful country.

And that we live in peace with ourselves.
May peace be upon you all.

  1. Now to me, yours and Wanitas actions speak to the heart of what the Christmas season is all about…loving and giving. Wishing you, Wanita, your daughter and the rest of your family a lovely, loving and very Merry Christmas.

    Hugs and blessings…Cat
