Ever since I read training Carrie I have something about reading out loud. It’s strange and intimate.
Poetry is made for reading out loud. I love to find a poem that completely surprises me.

I think she likes it as well

  1. I have found that the entire meaning of a poem can change depending on who's reading it…tone of voice, inflection, emphasis…all play a role. Thanks for sharing the lovely picture, Han.

  2. Ahhhh…a warm bubble bath, being read to…she is one very lucky lady. Think I need to pick an opportune time to have a bubble bath, leave a poetry book nearby and need help to wash my back…….

  3. It does. Depend on who and how the story or poem is told, it truly does change the meaning of the poem. I once went to those festivals where poets read their own poetry in a noisy room full of people and it changed the way I felt about the poem in an instant.
I'm more the one on one kind of guy.
